Kumar Steels

Kumar Steels is located at K-368 in the UPSIDC area of Greater Noida. Dealing with steel is heavy, dirty work, and our yard shows it. There are stacks of metal everywhere you turn, and the floor is mostly gravel and concrete. We’ve been at this location for some time now, and we’ve gotten used to the noise of cranes and trucks. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit. We usually have on heavy boots and old clothes because we’re always moving metal around. The building we use is more like a large shed than an office. We have a small corner where we keep our records and a phone that rings quite a bit. Greater Noida has changed a lot since we started here; it used to be much emptier. Now, the UPSIDC area is packed with all sorts of businesses. We don't do any flashy advertising or try to sound bigger than we are. We are just a local steel supplier that helps out builders and small workshops. The sun can be pretty brutal in the open yard during the afternoon, but we just keep at it. It’s a simple business model—buy the steel, store it, and sell it to whoever needs it for their project. We just try to be honest about what we have and get it loaded as fast as we can.
