Kumar Soap Industries

Kumar Soap Industries is situated at F-9, on the south side of G.T. Road. Being in the industrial area means there is always a lot of noise from the trucks passing by. Our building is a sturdy one, built to handle the soap-making process. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate, but everyone knows the spot. We spend most of our time near the vats and the packing line. There is a specific smell of raw materials that stays with you even after you go home. We’ve got a small team here, mostly guys who have lived in the area for a long time. We don't have fancy logos or a sleek website. Most of our business happens because we show up every day and do the work. The floors are often a bit slippery from the soap, so you have to watch your step. We take lunch together in the small break area toward the back. It’s not much to look at, but we’ve got a good rhythm going. When a big order comes in, everyone chips in to get the boxes taped up and loaded. G.T. Road is always busy, so getting the transport out can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just take it as it comes. It's a hard-working place with no real frills. We have been here long enough that the sounds of the machinery feel like silence.
