Mahalaxmi Packaging

Our factory is at 4/11 in the Ajanta Compound. It’s right near the Hindon Air Force Station, opposite the Karera UPSIDC site. You can often hear the planes from the base taking off while we’re working. We do packaging here, so the place is always full of cardboard, rolls of plastic, and tape. It’s a big, open space where we have the machines set up. Most of the time, the floor is covered in scraps of paper and packing material. We have a solid team of people who have been with us for a long time. We don't really do anything fancy. We just take orders for boxes and crates and get them made. The compound is quite busy with other industries, so there are always trucks moving in and out. It can get pretty dusty and hot during the summer months, but we just keep the big doors open for some air. We spend our days measuring things out and making sure the machines are running right. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy rolls and stacking finished boxes. We don't have a plush office or anything like that. There’s just a small desk where we keep the invoices and the phone. We’ve been here for years and we know the area well. It’s a good, honest business and we take pride in the fact that our boxes hold up when people use them.
