Kansal Wood Industries

The wood yard is out on Hapur Garh Road, very close to the Ram Mandir. You can usually smell the fresh cut timber before you even see the gate. We have piles of logs and stacked planks all over the place. Kansal Wood Industries has been here for quite some time now. It is a dusty job and the noise from the big saws can be a lot if you are not used to it. We deal with people who are building houses or making furniture. They come in to pick out the wood they want. We spend a lot of time measuring things and cutting them to size. It is heavy work and my back usually hurts by the end of the week. When it rains, the ground gets very muddy and we have to be careful with the trucks. We don't have a fancy office, just a small cabin with a table and a few chairs for when customers want to talk about their orders. We keep the equipment maintained as best as we can. It is a straightforward business. We buy wood and we cut it. That is what we have done for years. The temple nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. It is a simple life out here on the road and we keep working.
