K R Equipment Pvt Ltd is situated at 42/23 GT Road Industrial Area, right in the heart of Sahibabad 4. Being on the GT Road means there is never a quiet moment. There is a constant rumble of trucks and buses passing by outside our gate. Inside, we are mostly focused on the equipment we build and repair. The space is filled with heavy parts and the smell of industrial paint. We have a small office tucked in the corner, but mostly we are out in the shed. It is a tough environment but the guys who work here are used to it. We have been in Sahibabad for quite some time now and have seen the industrial area grow up around us. Sometimes the electricity is a bit spotty, so we have to adjust our schedule around that. We don't spend money on advertising because most people find us through word of mouth. If someone has a problem with their machinery, they usually just drop by. We grab a tea, look at the problem, and start working. It is not a shiny place, but it is functional. We value the relationships we have with the other shops around here. It is a community of people who actually make things with their hands. That is our reality day in and day out.
