K D Steels

If you head over to Ke 59 in Kavi Nagar, you will find where we keep all the steel. K D Steels is not a big fancy office, it is more of a yard where we spend most of our time dealing with heavy bars and sheets. The floor is concrete and it is usually got some scraps lying around. It gets loud when we move things. We use a lot of chalk to mark things down. Most days start with checking what came in overnight. It is heavy work, and our hands are usually covered in that grey dust that comes off the metal. We have been in Kavi Nagar for a bit now, and the neighbors know us because of the clanging sounds. We have a small desk tucked in the corner where we keep the bills and a phone that rings more than I would like. It is just how it goes. People come in looking for specific sizes, and we go out back to see what is left in the stack. We do not really have a sales pitch. If we have it, we tell you. If we do not, we might know who does. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work outside, especially when it rains and everything gets slick. We just wear old clothes and get on with it. It is a simple business, really. There is no need to make it complicated. Most of the guys working here have been around for years.
