Jacobs Engineering India Pvt Limited operates out of Indirapuram in Ghaziabad. Specifically, we are up on the seventh floor at A 703, Exotica Wast Square. Being at Plot 1 in Ahinsha Khand means we are right in the middle of all the residential blocks and markets. It is a busy part of town. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and the constant stream of cars on the road below. Indirapuram has grown so much lately, and we have seen the changes from this office. Inside, things are fairly straightforward. It is an engineering office, so you will see a lot of monitors and stacks of paper. We don’t have those fancy lounge areas or bean bags you find in startups. We just have our desks and a small pantry where we make our own coffee. The commute can be a bit of a headache depending on the traffic near the crossing, but once we are in, it is all about the work. Most of us have been working together for years, so we don't need many formal meetings. We just talk across the desks. It is a practical space for practical people. Being in Ghaziabad gives us a good base to manage projects without having to be in the middle of Delhi. It works for us. We are just a team of engineers trying to get the drawings right and making sure the calculations are solid before they go out to the site.
