The Planet Trips

Settled here in Shakti Khand, Indirapuram, things get pretty busy at The Planet Trips. Our office is usually full of the sound of people talking on phones and the hum of the air conditioner trying to keep up with the heat. We spend most of our hours looking through different hotels and bus routes to see what is available for the upcoming season. Indirapuram is a crowded area, so there is always a lot of traffic and noise right outside our door, which just feels normal now. We have posters of mountains and beaches on the walls, mostly to cover up the spots where the paint is peeling a bit. It’s not a fancy corporate office, just a place where we sit and try to figure out travel plans for people who are tired of their daily routine. Sometimes a client comes in and stays for an hour just talking about where they want to go, and we listen while checking prices on the screen. There are days when the phone won't stop ringing and days when it is so quiet we just sit and drink coffee and catch up on filing. We don't use a lot of fancy software, just the usual websites and some notebooks where we keep track of everything. It is a small team here and we just do our work to make sure nobody ends up stranded or without a room. It is just everyday business for us.
