We are located at Sf- 63 Vardhana Apartment in Absay Khanad, which isn't exactly where you'd expect an adventure company to be. It’s a regular apartment building, so the office feels more like a home than a corporate space. Rahagir Adventure grew out of a love for being outside, though ironically, we spend most of our time inside this office planning things. There’s usually some gear sitting in the corner, maybe some ropes or bags that need checking. We spend our mornings checking weather reports and talking to guides on the ground. It’s a lot of coordination. The space here is a bit tight, especially when we are preparing for a big group. We’ve got files everywhere and maps pinned to the walls. It’s not a polished operation with a front desk or a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door opens it. We started this because we wanted to share the kind of trips we like to take. It involves a lot of spreadsheets and phone calls to make sure everything is safe and ready. Some days are slow, and we just sit around talking about past trips, and other days are total chaos where we can’t even find a pen. It’s just a group of us working out of an apartment, trying to make these adventures happen for whoever wants to go. It is messy and loud sometimes, but we truly enjoy the work we do.
