If you look for Shop 16 in the Shahberi Pulia Market, you’ll find us right at the Crossing Republic. It’s a very active market area, and Mohan Travel Solutions fits right in with the rest of the shops. We aren't a big travel agency with glossy posters of far-off lands. Our shop is pretty small, mostly taken up by a couple of desks and some chairs for people to sit while we look up tickets or routes. The market outside is always noisy with people haggling and scooters zipping past. We like being in the middle of it all. It means someone is always dropping by to ask about a bus or a train. We spend a lot of time staring at computer screens and making phone calls to confirm bookings. It’s a lot of detail work, and sometimes things get confusing with all the different schedules. We don't have a polished sales pitch. We just tell people what’s available and what it costs. Usually, we have the radio playing in the background to drown out the market noise a bit. The afternoon sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard, so we keep the blind halfway down. It’s just a regular shop where we try to help folks get where they’re going without too much trouble. It’s been our home base for quite a while now and we like it.
