You can find us over at C-17/2 in Sector-22, which is part of the Meerut Road Industrial Area. We’re quite close to WPIL, so that usually helps people navigate their way to us. Being in an industrial area means there’s always a lot of activity—forklifts moving, people shouting across yards, and the smell of exhaust. Hum Engineers & Consultants is a bit of a mix. We do the technical consulting but also the hands-on engineering side of things. Our office has those typical metal cupboards and a lot of rolled-up blueprints that have been there forever. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, but we make it work. The water cooler is the most popular spot in the building, especially when the Meerut heat kicks in. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most of our days are spent on-site or huddled over a table discussing a project. The lighting inside is a bit bright, but it’s necessary for the detail work. We’ve been in Sector-22 for a good while and have seen many businesses come and go. We just stay focused on our own tasks. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we even stay late if a project is giving us trouble. We usually grab some snacks from the small shops outside the main gate when we need a break from the drawings and spreadsheets.
