Himalayni Agro Food Industries Llp is a small shop, specifically Shop No 5A in the Gandhi Market area of Modi Nagar. Being in Gandhi Market means it’s always crowded, and you can hear the sounds of the street all day long. We deal with agro-food products, mostly things that people need for their daily cooking. Our shop is quite packed with bags and containers, so there isn’t much room to move around once the stock comes in. I spend most of my time behind the counter or moving crates around. It’s a lot of interaction with the locals who come in looking for specific items. We don't have a big corporate structure; it’s just me and a couple of helpers who have been with me for a while. The walls have some scuff marks from all the deliveries, and the floor is a bit worn down, but it shows we’ve been working hard. We don’t really do any promotion because everyone in Modi Nagar knows where the market is. We just try to keep the prices fair and the stock fresh. Some days the heat in the market is tough, and we just sit near the fan when there's a break in customers. It’s just a regular market life, dealing with food and people, and we’re happy to be a part of this community.
