Himalaya Engg. Works

Himalaya Engg. Works is situated on Street No. 1, right near Viswkarma Marg and the Nandgram Mode. We are just off Merrut Road in the Hindon Vihar area. If you come by, you will see it is a very busy industrial neighborhood. There is always dust in the air and the sound of metal hitting metal. We have our workshop set up here, and it is pretty much what you would expect from an engineering place. There are bits of iron and steel scattered around, and the floor is usually stained with oil. We don’t have a fancy office where we sit in air conditioning. Most of our time is spent out on the shop floor getting our hands dirty. The heat can be a bit much in the summer months, especially with the machines running, but we have a few big fans that help a little. We have been in this spot for a long time, and the neighbors are all doing similar kinds of work. We know the tea seller on the corner and the guy who delivers the gas cylinders. It is a tight community of workers. We don't spend any time on fancy talk or trying to impress people with big words. We just take the jobs as they come and try to finish them on time. It is honest, hard work and that is about all there is to it. We just keep our heads down and stay busy.
