Grasim Cements

We are based out in the village of Ranauli Latiffpur. You have to head towards Vidhyut Nagar in the Dadri area to find our gates. Grasim Cements is a big part of this local area in Gautam Budh Nagar. Being out in the countryside is very different from working in a city office. We have a lot of space here, but it is also quite dusty and loud because of the cement production going on. Most of our workers live in the nearby villages, so it feels like a big family in some ways. We don't have a polished corporate image. We are more about the practical side of things. There are always trucks coming in and out, and the machines are running most of the time. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or slogans. We just focus on producing the cement that people need for their homes and roads. The weather out here can be really tough on everyone. Sometimes it is so hot you can't stand it, and other times the rain turns the dirt roads into thick mud. We just keep working through it. It is an honest way to make a living for all of us. We aren't into big speeches or fancy missions. We just want to do our jobs well and go home to our families at the end of the shift. It is a quiet life in the village, despite the noise.
