G S Modern School

Being in Sector 62, right near Village Khora, means we get a lot of different people coming through our doors. Noida has changed so much since we first started out. It used to be much quieter around here, but now there are high-rise buildings and offices everywhere you look. We are tucked away in a spot that stays fairly busy throughout the day. The school isn't some glass-fronted office building; it is just a place for learning. We have classrooms that get plenty of light when the sun is out. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common enough, but we just deal with it and keep going. The kids are mostly from the nearby residential areas. We spend a lot of our time just managing the daily schedule, making sure the bells ring on time and the teachers are actually in their rooms when they should be. It is a lot of paperwork, honestly. Dealing with all the board requirements takes up a lot of my time in the front office. We have a bit of space for sports, though it is certainly not a stadium. The staff room is usually full of notebooks waiting to be checked by the teachers. We drink a lot of tea in there during the short breaks. We do not do much advertising because people around here already know where we are located. It is a practical place for local families.
