Alakh Gyan Centre

Our place, Alakh Gyan Centre, is situated in Abhay Khand, Ghaziabad. We are inside Anukampa Apartment, at unit C 84. One thing that helps people find us is that we are quite close to the local police chowki. It’s a residential-style setup, so it feels a bit more like a home than a stiff office building. We have a couple of rooms where the students sit. The lighting is okay, though we sometimes have to bring in extra lamps on cloudy days. Because it’s an apartment building, it’s mostly quiet, except for the usual sounds of neighbors or the occasional car horn from the street. We try to keep the noise down so we don’t bother the people living nearby. The entrance is just a standard door, and we usually have a few pairs of shoes sitting outside on the mat. We’ve got some basic shelving for folders and papers that always seem to pile up no matter how much we organize. The fans on the ceiling work well enough to keep the heat away during the summer months. Most of the people who come here are from the surrounding blocks in Abhay Khand. It’s a steady routine for us, opening up in the morning and staying until the last student leaves in the evening. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything, so most people just hear about us from their neighbors.
