Being in a high-rise like this means we spend a fair bit of time waiting for the elevator, but the view from the fifth floor isn't too bad. We are Fluor Daniel India Pvt Ltd, and this is our space. It feels more like a lived-in office than a corporate showroom. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the carpets are a bit worn in the spots where everyone walks. But it’s comfortable. We have our desks set up, and there’s usually a pile of papers somewhere that needs sorting. Vaishali is a busy area, and the building is full of different people and businesses. You hear the hum of the city all the time. On some days, it’s quite peaceful, and on others, it’s a bit chaotic with deliveries and people moving around. We don’t have a big reception desk. If someone comes by, they usually just walk in and find whoever they are looking for. It’s an informal way of doing things, but it works for us. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep things organized, even when it gets busy. It’s just a regular office in a big building where we spend our days getting the job done. It's not fancy, but it is where we do our best work.
