Fire Tech Engineer

Our workshop is located at Plot No. 63 on Street No. 1, right near the Delhi-U.P. Border on G.T. Road. It is a noisy spot because of all the heavy trucks going back and forth between the states. We work on fire safety stuff like extinguishers and piping systems. The shop floor is usually covered in some dust and bits of metal from the work we do. We have a lot of heavy tools and machines for cutting and threading pipes. It is not a place for anyone who needs clean clothes. We usually wear old shirts that can get dirty. Most of our day is spent checking valves or refilling tanks. We've been at this location for a long time, so we know most of the other shop owners on the street. Sometimes it gets really dusty when the wind blows off G.T. Road. We don't have a fancy office upstairs, just a small desk where we keep the bills and the phone. If a customer comes in, they usually just talk to us while we are working on something. We don't have a sales team or anything like that. We just fix what needs fixing and make sure the gear works like it should. It’s a practical business at Fire Tech Engineer. We deal with real problems and heavy equipment every single day. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s our main break.
