ESCORT Bearing (INDIA) Pvt.Ltd. is up on the second floor of the Plaza Shopping Centre. Our specific unit is 202, located at 140/142 Sharif Devji Street. This street is always packed with people and carts moving goods back and forth. It is one of those busy parts of the city where you have to watch your step. The shopping centre is an older building with a lot of character. You walk through the ground floor shops and take the stairs or the lift up to the second floor to find us. It’s much quieter once you get inside our office, away from the honking and shouting on the street below. We have boxes stacked up and shelves filled with inventory. It’s a tight space but we have a system for everything. Being on Sharif Devji Street means we are right in the middle of the trade action. We often have tea delivered from the stall downstairs. The windows are small, so we don't see much of the sky, just the tops of the buildings across the narrow street. It is a practical spot for a bearing company. We don't need a lot of decoration, just a place to store the parts and answer the phones. The floors are worn down from years of feet walking the same paths between the desks and the stockroom. It’s just how we work here.
