Saraswati Metal Works

Saraswati Metal Works is located at 196/12 Dwarka Puri, which is right opposite Delhi Gate. If you walk past, you will probably hear the sound of metal being hit or the noise from the machines. It is a loud place and there is always metal dust on the floor. We have been working with different types of metals here for years. The shop is a bit dark and cramped because of all the raw materials and tools we keep inside. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a website with pretty pictures. People just come to the door and tell us what they need made or fixed. Sometimes we are working on big gates and other times it is just small parts for machines. The heat from the welding can be a bit much in the summer, but we are used to it by now. Being near Delhi Gate means there is always traffic and noise outside, but we just focus on the metal in front of us. We are just a group of workers who know how to handle tools. There isn't much to say about us other than we show up, do the welding or cutting, and go home. Sometimes the orders are for things we’ve never made before, so we have to sit down and figure out the best way to cut the steel or bend the iron. It’s a lot of trial and error occasionally.
