You can find Diamond Auto Industries out on the Ghaziabad Meerut Road in Industrial Area 35. It’s a rough and ready kind of place, as you’d expect for an auto industry spot. There’s a lot of heavy lifting and the sound of metal hitting metal. We make various parts, and it’s a dirty, greasy job most of the time. We aren’t sitting in air-conditioned offices typing on computers. We’re out on the floor, dealing with the heat and the machines. The area is full of trucks and big factories, so it’s not exactly a quiet neighborhood. We’ve been operating here for a while, and the place looks like it. There are stacks of material in the corners and the smell of industrial coolant is everywhere. We don’t have a marketing department or someone to write fancy slogans for us. We just make sure the pieces we produce are what the customers asked for. Sometimes things go wrong with a machine and we spend the whole night fixing it. That’s just the nature of the business. It’s not pretty, and it’s definitely not corporate. We’re just a bunch of guys who know our way around a workshop. We work hard, go home tired, and come back the next morning to do it all over again.
