The shop is right on the G.T Road in Nasik Pur, at number 282. It stays pretty busy because of all the vehicles passing by outside all day long. Every morning we roll up the heavy shutters and start dusting off the glass shelves. There is always a lot of dust because the road is so close to the front door. We keep all sorts of medicines here for the people living nearby and those who are just passing through the area. It is not a very big shop but we make sure the inventory is stocked up as much as possible. Sometimes people come in late at night looking for something urgent for their kids or parents. We know most of our regular customers by their faces since they have been coming here for a long time. The old fan hums all day in the corner above the counter. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to sit by the open door for a bit of air. Dealing with all the different prescriptions takes up most of our time. We write down what we need to order for the next day on a small notepad that stays by the cash box. It is just a regular pharmacy life here in this part of town. The noise from the G.T Road never really stops, even when it gets late and the sun goes down. We just keep things moving and try our best to stay organized.
