Our workshop is at S-44, also on the South Side of G.T. Road. Being in this industrial area means there is always something going on. We handle things under the Confetti India name. It sounds a bit festive, but the work is mostly practical manufacturing. We have a lot of machines that need constant attention. The floor is usually busy with people moving materials around. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, someone will probably just look up from what they're doing and say hello. We like keeping things simple. We don't go in for big meetings or long-term strategy sessions. We just look at what needs to be made today and we make it. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and we just deal with it. That’s life in the industrial belt. We’ve been here long enough to know the local suppliers and the guys who run the other units. It’s a community of people who just want to get their work done. We focus on the daily tasks. It isn't always pretty, and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but the work gets done. That’s what matters to us. We’re just regular folks doing a job. Most of the day is just spent keeping the production line moving and making sure the orders are ready for the trucks.
