Bansal Cement Agency

We have been running Bansal Cement Agency for quite a while now over here in Vandan Enclave. If you know Khora Colony, you know how busy the streets get around Shop No. Rc/47. It’s right near the Rajat Vihar Appartment, which everyone uses as a landmark when they are trying to find us. Mostly, we spend our days dealing with heavy bags of cement and making sure the stacks don’t fall over. It is a lot of physical work, honestly. My clothes are always covered in that grey dust, and sometimes my lungs feel it too if I don’t be careful. We just keep the shop open from early morning because that is when the builders want their stuff. If you arrive late, the traffic around here makes it impossible to move a truck. We don't really do much fancy stuff, just keep the stock ready. The neighbors know us, and we know them. Sometimes we sit outside on the plastic chairs when it’s not too hot and just watch the bikes go by. It’s not a glamorous life but it’s what we do. People come in asking for a few bags or a whole truckload, and we figure out how to get it to them without blocking the whole road. It takes some coordination with the drivers. We’ve seen the colony change a lot over the years, and there are more buildings going up every single month.
