B R Chakrawarti

B R Chakrawarti is situated over in Sahibabad at Shyam Park Extension 67 B. If you are coming from the main road, you have to look out for the turn because it is easy to miss if you are driving too fast. The building is a standard one for this area, nothing that stands out too much from the neighbors. We spend most of our time inside dealing with whatever comes across the desk that day. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons during the summer, so the fan is always running. There are some trees outside that give a little shade, which is nice. We have been at 67 B for a while, and the locals seem to know us well enough. Sometimes people stop by just to say hello or ask for directions because they are lost in the extension. The office inside is a bit cluttered with papers and books, but we know where everything is kept. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, except when the school nearby lets out. We don’t do much in the way of fancy events or anything like that. We just show up in the morning, open the shutters, and get to work. It’s just how things go here in Sahibabad. The tea here is okay, and we usually bring our lunch from home. It’s a practical way to run B R Chakrawarti, and we are quite content with it. We usually close up early on Saturdays. It works for us.
