Our place, Ashoka Enterprises, is located right by the Sri Thakur Dwara Mandir on G.T. Road. Being near the temple means there is always a lot of movement and people around. It’s a good spot to be. We’ve been operating from here for a while, dealing with the daily ins and outs of the business. It’s not a complicated setup. We have our office and our stock, and we deal with whoever walks in or calls up. Batala is a place where everyone knows everyone, so news travels fast if you do a good or bad job. We try to just keep things steady. Some days are slow, others we can’t even catch our breath. That’s just how it goes when you’re running a small enterprise like this. The G.T. Road is always loud with trucks and cars, so it’s never quiet here. We’re used to the noise by now. We don’t have a big fancy team, just a few of us making sure things get done. If you’re passing the temple, you’ll see us. It’s a practical way to live, working every day and seeing the same faces. We handle the orders as they come in. No big promises, just the work.
