We’re located right on the 30 Feet Road in Hindon Vihar, which is just off the Raj Nagar Extension Bypass Road. If you know where the Sai Baba Mandir is, we are just a short walk from there. The workshop is usually quite loud because of the grinding and the welding machines. It’s an engineering place, so there’s always grease on the floor and scraps of metal in the corners. We spend most of our time out on the floor rather than sitting behind a desk. The bypass road gets really busy in the evenings, so getting parts delivered can be a bit of a wait. We started here a few years back and have just stayed in this same spot. It’s not a very big shop but we manage to fit everything in. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have three or four big jobs going at once. The tea shop at the corner is where we usually end up talking about the day's work. It's mostly just local guys working here, trying to get things fixed or fabricated correctly. We don’t really do any big advertising or anything like that. Most people just find us because they saw the sign while heading toward the temple or they heard from someone else in the neighborhood. The heat in the summer makes the metal parts tough to handle without gloves, but that is just part of the job. We keep the doors open for the breeze.
