M B A Engineering & Plastic Works

Our workshop is tucked away in the Arthala Rajendra Nagar industrial area at 109/28. It’s one of those narrow streets where everyone knows each other by their first name. M B A Engineering & Plastic Works is where we spend most of our waking hours. The air usually smells a bit like warm plastic because the machines are always running. We have a few old lathes and some molding equipment that we’ve used forever. It’s not a quiet place. There is always the thumping sound of the press or someone clanking metal in the back. Most of the staff live nearby, so they just walk or bike into work every morning. We get a lot of people stopping by asking if we can fix small parts or make something specific for their own projects. The floor is usually covered in some kind of scrap, though we try to sweep it up before the day ends. It gets really hot in the summer months, but we just keep the big fans going and carry on. We aren’t trying to be the biggest factory around. We just want to finish the parts we promised to people and head home to our families. The address is easy to find once you get into the industrial zone, right near the other metal shops. It’s an honest day's work for us and we have been doing it this way for quite a while.
