K K Engineering Works

We are located at B-208 in Sector 23, Sanjay Nagar. K K Engineering Works is a place where there’s always something being welded or drilled. The floor is concrete and usually covered in metal shavings and oil spots. It’s a loud environment because of the heavy machinery we use all day. We wear heavy gloves and masks because the sparks fly everywhere when we’re working on a project. It’s not the kind of place where you want to wear nice clothes. We spend a lot of time taking measurements and fitting metal parts together for local building projects or repairs. Sanjay Nagar is a busy neighborhood and we fit right in with the noise. Our workshop has been here for a good while and we know the rhythms of the street. Sometimes we’re working on a small gate and other times it’s big structural pieces that take up the whole floor. We don't have a fancy office to sit in; we usually just stand around the machines or sit on a metal stool during breaks. The air smells like burnt metal and grease, which is just normal for us. We don't do much talking when the grinders are running. We just focus on getting the job done right so the parts fit where they’re supposed to go. It’s honest, heavy work that keeps us busy from morning to night.
