If you ever find yourself over near C 112 Sector 9, that's where you'll find Shiv Machinery & Hardware Store. It’s a busy little corner of the world. We have shelves packed with everything from basic screws to bigger power tools that take up a lot of space. It can get a bit crowded inside when a few customers come in at once, but we usually manage to find what they're looking for under the counter or in the back. Working in hardware means your hands are always a bit dirty and you're always lifting heavy boxes. That’s just part of the routine. We don't have a big marketing team or anything, it’s just us running the shop day in and day out. Some days are faster than others. We see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood coming in for a bag of nails or a new wrench. It’s nice knowing the people who live and work around Sector 9. We try to keep a good variety of stuff because you never know what someone is going to need for a repair at home or at their job site. The shop stays open pretty regular hours. It’s a simple life, helping people find the right bolt or piece of hardware so they can go home and fix whatever broke. Nothing fancy about it, just a local hardware store trying to keep the shelves full and useful for everyone.
