De Novo

De Novo is located at A-22 in Sec-57, which is a fairly quiet spot compared to some other parts of the city. We’ve been at this address for a while, and the building is just a regular house-turned-office sort of deal. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes, especially since we have a little patch of grass out front that we try to keep green. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze with different rooms used for different things. We’ve got desks pushed up against the windows so we can see who’s coming down the street. It’s not a high-pressure environment; we usually just work through our tasks at a steady pace. Sometimes the internet goes out when there’s a storm, and we all just sit around and talk until it comes back on. We don’t have any fancy corporate branding on the walls, just some old photos and a clock that’s five minutes fast. Sec-57 is a nice area, and being at A-22 means we don't have to deal with too much noise from the main road. Most of our neighbors are other small businesses or families, so it stays pretty peaceful. We don't put on any acts here. If you come by, you’ll just see us in our normal clothes, probably drinking coffee and looking over some documents. We keep a jar of biscuits on the counter, but it's usually empty by Wednesday. It’s a simple setup, but it’s ours, and it works well for what we do every day.
