Bal Uday Model High School

You can find Bal Uday Model High School right on the main road in Village Haldoni. We are part of the Greater Noida area, though it still feels a lot like a village around here. The school building has two floors and we have a decent sized yard in the front where the assembly happens every morning. It gets quite loud when all the kids are out there at once. I have been working here for a few years and I see the same faces every day. The students grow up fast; one day they are in the primary section and the next they are finishing high school. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many kids running around, there is always some dust or a bit of a mess to clean up. The teachers live nearby for the most part, so they know the families well. We do not have any air conditioning or anything like that, just ceiling fans that hum all day long. Parents from Haldoni and the nearby sectors send their kids here because we are close by and they know what to expect. It is a basic school where the focus is just on getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids behave themselves. Nothing more, nothing less. We also have a small office where the records are kept, and it usually has a stack of registers on the desk.
