Our place is located in Kuanala, which is under the Bhamasyali post office in the Ganjam district of Orissa. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't from the area, but it’s a solid location for what we do. We work with stainless steel, and being out in Ganjam means we are close to the people who really understand what hard work looks like. The building isn't anything to look at twice—it’s just a functional space where we store materials and manage the local logistics. We get quite a bit of rain during the monsoon season, which can slow things down and make the yard a mess, but we just work around it. The team here is mostly locals from the nearby villages who have been with us for a while. We don't use fancy titles or have big meetings about corporate goals. We just look at what needs to be moved and we move it. The steel industry is tough, and it shows in our workplace. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but it’s honest work. We keep our records in big books and try to stay on top of the orders coming in from the bigger towns. It’s a quiet life out here in Kuanala until the trucks arrive, and then it’s all hands on deck for everyone. We don't put on any acts for anyone who visits. We’re just a steel outfit trying to do right by our workers.
