Jindal Steel & Power Ltd

We are located down in Berhampur, in the Ganjam district. It’s a busy town in Odisha and we’ve been part of the scene here for quite some time. Our work revolves around the steel and power sectors, which are a big deal in this part of the country. We don’t have a complicated way of doing things. Our office is just a place where we manage the local side of the business. We get in early, look at what needs to be delivered, and spend a lot of time on the phone. Berhampur is a place where everyone kind of knows everyone, so we try to keep things friendly and simple. We don't use those high-level marketing phrases because they don't really fit who we are. We are just workers who know a lot about steel and how it gets moved. The office is usually a bit cluttered with documents and metal samples, but we know where everything is. It’s a functional space. People come to us when they need to figure out the logistics for their projects, and we do our best to help them out without any nonsense. It’s a good town to be in, and we feel lucky to have a spot here. We just keep our heads down and do the work, day after day. It’s not always easy, especially when the monsoon hits, but it is what we do. It’s a decent life.
