Jindal Steel

We are located on Karana Street in Berhampur, right near the Big Bazar. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where the Big Bazar is. Our place is pretty simple. We deal with Jindal Steel and keep ourselves busy with the daily grind of the metal trade. Orissa can get very humid, so the office usually has a fan humming in the corner. We aren't a big, polished company. It’s just a group of us who have been working together for a long time. The street outside is usually busy with shoppers and rickshaws, so it’s never quiet. We have our own way of doing things, maybe not the most modern way, but it works for us. We keep our records in big books and sometimes on the computer when it feels like working. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We don't use marketing slogans or try to sound bigger than we are. If you come by, you'll see us drinking tea and checking the inventory lists. Sometimes we struggle with the logistics when the roads are blocked, but we find a way around it. It's just local life here in Berhampur. We like it this way. No frills, just hard work and steel. We have been here for years and hope to stay for many more. We just take things as they come and try to be helpful.
