Our shop is at A-53 in the Electronics Estate, which is part of Section 25 in GIDC. It’s a bit of a maze in here if you don't know the turns. We’ve been working with power systems at Rainbow Power for quite a while now. The GIDC area is always full of the sound of generators and machinery, so it’s never really quiet. We have a modest setup. It’s mostly just shelves full of batteries, inverters, and testing gear. The workbench is usually cluttered with tools and half-finished projects. We don’t have a professional cleaning crew, so there’s usually a bit of dust on the higher shelves. We aren't looking to become some huge chain. We just like solving the power issues that local businesses around here face. My brother handles the technical side while I look after the books and talk to the people who walk in. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just about making sure the lights stay on when the grid fails. We get our tea from the same stall every morning and usually stay until the sun goes down. It’s a steady life in the electronics estate. People know us as the guys who don't mind getting their hands dirty to get a job done. It’s just how we are. We try to keep it simple and focus on the wiring in front of us.
