J M G High School

J M G High School is out in Shertha, which is a bit of a distance in Gandhinagar. It’s a local school that serves the families living in and around the village area. Things are a bit slower out here compared to the main city center. We’ve got the local kids coming in every morning, some walking from nearby houses and others coming on cycles. The school building is simple, nothing too modern, but it does the job. We have classes for the older kids mainly. Our days are filled with the usual school stuff—teachers shouting to be heard over the noise of the playground, the sound of the bell, and kids trying to sneak out a bit early. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. People know us because we’ve been here in Shertha for years. The dusty playground is where most of the action happens during the breaks. We deal with the usual stuff like broken windows or missing chalk every other week. The teachers live nearby, so everyone knows everyone else’s business, which is just how village life is. It's an honest place to get an education without any of the fancy bells and whistles you see in the big city private schools. We just focus on getting the students through their grades so they can hopefully find good work or go for further studies later on. It is a simple life here in Shertha.
