Adarsh Higher Secondary Hindi School

Adarsh Higher Secondary Hindi School is located out on the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway, near Chharodi in Ahmedabad. Being right by such a major highway means there is constant movement around the school. Large trucks and cars are always passing by. The school building is a sturdy structure that has been in this spot for many years. We focus on Hindi medium education for the higher secondary levels. This means we have a lot of older students coming in from different parts of Ahmedabad and also from the nearby villages. The atmosphere here is a bit more serious than a primary school because these students are preparing for their future. Our classrooms can get quite hot during the summer months, so we keep the fans running all day long. The staff room is usually piled high with notebooks and registers. We do not have any fancy landscaping or gardens, just the school building and the open space around it. Most of the students get here by bus or by cycling. During their breaks, they usually stand around the entrance or talk in the long hallways. It is a very functional place. We do not use any complicated technology, just the usual blackboards and textbooks. Chharodi is growing fast, with more buildings going up every year. Despite the highway noise, it is a decent place for students to come and focus on their studies.
