Delhi Public School

We are located right on Faridkot Road here in Ferozepur. Most days start pretty early around here because the buses start rolling in before the sun gets too high. It’s a big building, and there is always something that needs fixing or painting, which keeps the maintenance guys busy. People know us as the school near the main road where all the traffic passes by. The staff rooms are usually full of notebooks and half-finished cups of tea. We have been here a while now, so we know most of the families in this part of town. The kids run around the grounds during the breaks, and you can hear them from quite a distance. It gets dusty in the summer, but we try to keep the classrooms cool with the fans going full blast. Some of the teachers have been with us since the beginning, so they have seen a lot of changes in the local area. We don’t have fancy rugs or anything, just standard desks and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. When the bells ring at the end of the day, there’s a bit of a rush at the gates. It’s just a normal place where people work hard and kids learn their lessons. We spend a lot of time organizing the cupboards and making sure there’s enough chalk and pens for everyone. It’s a busy spot in Ferozepur, that’s for sure.
