Guru Gobind Singh Public School

Out here on Bariwala Road, the school has been sitting for quite a long time. Muktsar gets very hot in the summer, so we try to keep the windows open to catch any breeze we can get. Guru Gobind Singh Public School is just a local place for the kids around Bariwala to get their lessons done. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the tractors go past, but inside it is usually alright. We have a playground that is mostly dirt and grass, and that is where the kids spend their breaks. The classrooms have desks that are a little old and the paint on the walls is peeling in some corners, but we try to keep things tidy. We have a few teachers who have been here since the start. There isn't a lot of extra stuff, just the books and the boards. Parents come by in the mornings to drop off their children and they stay for a quick chat by the gate. It is a normal school day every day. We do not have fancy gadgets or anything like that. Just the basics for reading and writing. When the rain comes, the yard gets a bit muddy, but we manage. People in 152025 know where we are. It is just a part of the neighborhood where life goes on at its own pace. There is a small office near the entrance where we keep the records.
