Fatehabad Fisheries Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Thuiyan village. If you go to house number 238 in the VPO, that’s where you will find us. We are a group of fish farmers who decided to pool our resources together. Fatehabad is a good place for this kind of work, but it takes a lot of effort to keep the ponds in good shape. Fish farming is a bit different from regular crop farming because you are always worried about water levels and oxygen. Our village, Thuiyan, is where most of our members are from. We don't have a big corporate headquarters. Instead, we use the space at H No-238 to keep our records and talk about how the fish are growing. It gets very hot here in the summer, which makes the work even tougher. Sometimes things don't go as planned, and we have to figure out why the fish aren't thriving, but that's just part of the job. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure our families can keep farming. The paperwork for the producer company can be a headache sometimes, but we do our best to stay organized. Most of the guys you will meet are just local farmers who know more about water and feed than they do about business meetings. It’s honest work in a small village.
