Farmborn Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Ratta Khera village in the Ratia area. We use Rahul Kumar’s place at house number 10 for our meetings and paperwork. We are all local farmers from around Fatehabad. The name Farmborn really just means we were all born into this life. We don't know much else besides working the soil and watching the seasons change. We put this company together so we could help each other out with the business side of things. It’s hard to get good prices or find the right supplies when you are just one person working a small plot. By working together in Ratta Khera, we can get more done and support each other. We aren't trying to be fancy or sound like a big city business. We just meet at the house, drink some tea, and decide what needs to be done for the upcoming season. Haryana is a good place to be a farmer, but it takes a lot of grit and patience. We handle everything from the planting to the final sale. It's a lot of responsibility, but it feels right to do it as a group. We’ve lived here our whole lives and we just want to make sure the farms stay productive for the next generation. It's a simple, practical way to live and work. We just do our best.
