Taste & Spice

Taste & Spice is located at Scf-152 in the Sec-21c Market here in Faridabad. If you know the city, you know that this market is a pretty busy spot, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we’ve become part of the local scene. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be very organized with our space. We have all our spices lined up on the shelves, and the smell of them usually drifts out onto the street. It’s what brings people in most of the time. I work here with my cousin and we spend a lot of time arguing about how much salt to put in things, but it’s all in good fun. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that; everything happens right here behind the counter. The 121002 area is where I grew up, so it feels good to have a business in my own neighborhood. We have some regular customers who come by every Tuesday like clockwork. We don't bother with fancy advertisements or social media much. We just rely on people telling their friends that the food here is alright. Sometimes we make mistakes and forget an order when it’s really busy, but we always try to make it right. It’s just a normal local shop trying to do a good job for the people in Sec-21c. It keeps us busy.
