It’s a house that we’ve turned into a workspace, which makes the long hours at the computers a bit easier to handle. It’s more about the data and the learning that happens in the quiet corners of the rooms. The street outside is usually lined with cars, and the local shops are where we grab lunch most days. Sometimes the internet acts up, and everything stops for a minute, but that’s just part of being in this area. We focus on the science and the teaching without making a big fuss about it. We’ve got stacks of papers and books piled up in various spots. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. People come here because they want to learn something specific, and we just provide the space and the tools to do that. It is a simple place, and we like it that way.
