Our office is based at House Number 15 in Sector 31, Faridabad. It is a residential-looking block, which makes it feel a bit more like a home than a stiff office. We deal with maritime training and stuff related to the sea, which is funny because Faridabad is nowhere near the ocean. But we have all the manuals and equipment we need right here in Block Number 11. The neighborhood is generally quiet, which helps when we are trying to focus on complicated maritime regulations. We don't have a big flashy entrance. You just walk up to the house and you’ll find us inside working away. Most of us have been here for a long time, so we know the local shops and where to get the best lunch. The office is a bit cluttered with books and charts, but we know where everything is. We don't really bother with fancy slogans or big promises. If you need to learn about maritime stuff, we have the space and the people to show you. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. Sometimes the local kids are playing cricket in the street outside, and we have to be careful when we drive out. It’s just a normal part of the day for us in this part of Faridabad. We’ve had to fix the gate a few times, but other than that, the place holds up pretty well for our daily needs.
