Kanwar Mohan Singh

My place is on New Railway Road. It’s a long road and there is always something happening outside the door. Kanwar Mohan Singh is the name we go by here. We have been in this spot for quite a few years now. It’s a simple setup, nothing like those big corporate offices you see in the city center. We just have our space and we do our daily tasks. The trains passing by are quite loud, but after a while, you don't even notice the sound anymore. It’s just part of the background. Most of our day is spent talking to folks who walk in or handling things over the phone. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything stays on track. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. Work comes first. New Railway Road can get pretty congested, especially during the morning rush. We see the same faces every day, which is nice. It feels like a real community here. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just provide what people need and keep our heads down. It’s a practical way to live. Sometimes the summer heat is a bit much, but we have a fan and some cold water. That’s enough to get through the day.
