We’re based out in Durgapur village, which is part of the Palwal tehsil in Faridabad. It’s a quiet area, and our setup here is all about education. We work with the local community, mostly focusing on teaching and helping people learn new things. The village atmosphere is nice, a bit different from the city bustle. However, we also have an address in Juhu, Mumbai, for people to send mail to us. It seems like a long way apart, but it works for how we handle things. Out here in Palwal, the school day starts early. You can hear the kids and the teachers as soon as the sun is up. The buildings are simple, nothing like those big private schools in the metros. We have basic classrooms and a lot of open space. It’s about giving the local folks a chance to study without having to travel too far. Sometimes the electricity goes out, and we just move the benches outside under the trees. It’s a very hands-on way of doing things. We don't have a big budget for advertisements, so most people just know us by word of mouth. We keep our correspondence going through the Mumbai office because it’s easier for some of the official stuff. It’s just a small group of us trying to do something in this part of Haryana. We like it here in Durgapur, and we plan to stay for a while.
