Sri Vedha Mills

Sri Vedha Mills is set up at Unit I - 116 on Nasianur Road in the Narayanavalasu area. We are right near the Sangam Theatre, so if there is a big movie release, the whole street gets incredibly crowded and loud. Our building is an old industrial unit that has been around for a long time, and you can tell by the way the walls look, but it is solid and does the job. Inside, the machines are usually running most of the day, so it is never really quiet here. We spend a lot of time checking on the output and making sure everything is running the way it should be. It is a lot of physical work and we all go home with a bit of grease or dust on our clothes, but that is just part of the life. We don't have a fancy office with carpets or glass walls; we have a small cabin with a fan where we keep the ledgers and handle the bills. Most of the people working here have been with us for a long time, so we are more like a group of friends than just coworkers. We share tea twice a day and talk about the news or what’s happening in the neighborhood. It is a simple way of working, focusing on the machines and the product rather than fancy talk or big promises. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
