Sri Valli Modern Rice Mill

Sri Valli Modern Rice Mill is situated at 149 Gandhi Road, inside the V.A.B Complex. We are right near the V.A.B Cinema Hall, so that’s a good reference point for anyone trying to find us. Even though the name says "Modern," it’s still a place where we put in a lot of manual effort every day. The complex is usually buzzing with people, especially when there’s a popular movie playing next door. We have our milling setup in one of the units there. It can get a bit cramped when we have a big delivery of paddy, but we make do with the space we have. Gandhi Road is often crowded, so getting the transport trucks in and out of the V.A.B Complex takes some careful maneuvering. We spend our days watching the machines, making sure the rice is cleaned and polished properly. It’s noisy work, and we usually end up with rice husks in our hair. Most of our customers are local shops and families who want their own grain processed. We don’t go for anything fancy; we just focus on the task and try to keep the machines in good shape. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and checking the weight of the bags. Sometimes it’s exhausting, but it’s what we do. The location is handy because everything we need is right here on Gandhi Road.
