Our office is located on Pethampalayam Road in Perundurai, which is part of the Erode district. The door number is 36/37/1/4, which sounds complicated but it’s just how the plots were divided up here. It’s a quiet road compared to the main highways. We focus on bio-tech for farming, which means we deal with a lot of samples and organic inputs. The building is a plain concrete one, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, we have some workbenches and a lot of plastic containers for different materials. We aren't a big corporation with many layers of management. It’s just us working through the daily orders and checking on the quality of what we produce. The Erode area is very focused on agriculture, so we fit right in with the local scene. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just wait it out or work by the light from the door. We don't have any polished brochures or fancy slogans. We just talk to the farmers and suppliers who come by. The floors are easy to clean, which is good because we often track in dirt from outside. It’s a very functional environment. We have a small cupboard for our lunch boxes and a water cooler in the corner. We also keep a few spare bulbs and some basic tools in the back room just in case something breaks. That’s really all there is to it for our daily routine here.
